A Quick Word About Mobile Pantries

Our mobile pantries at The Freedom Tour are a beacon of hope for many in need, and we're grateful for the overwhelming support we receive through messages, calls, and emails. If you follow us on social media, you'll often see pictures of our trucks in action, delivering food to various locations.

We're proud to collaborate with local organizations to host drive-through food drops across Central Florida, including areas like Wahneta, Winter Haven, Lake Wales, and Lake Alfred. Additionally, we provide support to community partners such as Tabernacle of Praise in Inwood, Heart of the Father in Lakeland, and nine elementary schools on a rotating basis. For updates on upcoming food drives near you, be sure to follow Polk County Florida outreach events and food banks on Facebook.

It's important to note that our mobile food pantries aren't announced on Facebook in advance, as they're specifically tailored to serve neighborhoods, developments, or complexes identified as food deserts or lacking in public transportation. Our goal is to break down barriers to access and ensure that all Polk County residents can receive the support they need. We recognize that we're just one part of a larger network of food distribution centers, and we believe in the power of collaboration to address hunger in our community.

We're always seeking sponsors—whether businesses, citizens, or churches—who are willing to support our mobile food pantries or sponsor a food drive. Sponsorships play a vital role in covering the costs of fuel, trucks, and procuring food, making these mobile pantries possible and enabling us to reach even more people in need.
